




The National Geographic Society has been inspiring people to care about the planet since 1888. It is one of the largest non-profit scientific and educational institutions in the world. Its interests include geography, archaeology and natural science, the promotion of environmental and historical conservation.
The Channel required an iTV presence to reinforce its brand in the digital marketplace. It's main criteria for success was to capture the audience imagination and to inform them of it's programming schedule in a fun and interactive manner.
We produced a series of concepts based on the framework of cable providers, Virgin Media. We focused on 'bite size' pieces of information that was to serve as a 'teaser' to the broadcast channel. In addtion, we designed and built interactive elements such as a monthly quiz and competition to drive viewers to the 'red button'.
We continue to support the successful site - and are helping introduce new ideas and features.
